Department Overview
The Marketing Division is responsible for the sales and retention of new and existing group accounts, maintenance and service of such accounts and upgrading of business to these accounts. It is also responsible for individual, senior products and long term care sales and retention. Sales and product support involve the entire scope of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama coverage, including health, dental, long term care, life and account-based products. The Marketing Division is also responsible for product development and management, product profitability, advertising, direct marketing, marketing communications and marketing research and development. Primary Responsibilities
The Digital Product Owner is responsible for the successful implementation of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama's (BCBSAL) digital strategy across all digital platforms, while driving the delivery of continuous enhancements to the digital self-service experience for the web and mobile apps. The Digital Product Owner also prioritizes and manages the product backlog for IT partners. Digital Product Owners are responsible for achieving BCBSAL's strategic brand and business objectives by providing digital expertise and guidance to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from across the organization. This responsibility also includes monitoring digital product performance and operational efficiency of all digital products and services in our Company's portfolio to ensure a streamlined end to end experience for users. This individual serves a vital role in promoting the integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless delivery of all digital execution for BCBSAL. Summary of Qualifications
