Adjoint Sr. Instructor: * A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a lower-level physical therapy degree with a terminal degree (such as PhD, DSc, DHS, EdD, or equivalent). * A current PT license in the State of Colorado or eligibility for licensure in Colorado. * Involvement in Program, APTA State Chapter and/or national APTA activities. * A minimum of 3 years full-time clinical experience in physical therapy. * A minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead faculty role in exercise science/physiology instruction at an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Adjoint Assistant Professor: * Eligibility for physical therapy licensure in the state of Colorado. * A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a lower-level physical therapy degree with a terminal degree (such as PhD, DSc, DHS, EdD, or equivalent). * A minimum of 5 years full-time clinical experience in physical therapy * A minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead faculty role in exercise science/physiology instruction at an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. * Knowledge of CAPTE requirements. * Experience with Interprofessional Education for entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy students. * Experience with conducting and organizing simulation learning student experiences. * Experience mentoring assistants and lecturers in teaching, scholarship and service. * Experience with facilitating clinical laboratory activities within an academic setting. * Knowledge of applicable pedagogy associated with the acquisition and development of clinical skills. * Able to establish and implement a scholarship/research plan per accreditation requirements and in accordance with university standards. * Experience assessing student performance associated with traditional clinical laboratory activities and simulation learning experiences. * Experience participating in university governance, curriculum planning, and support of efficient and consistent academic practices. Preferred Qualifications: Adjoint Sr. Instructor: * A record of professional development (continuing education). * ABPTRFE-accredited residency program graduate. * A minimum of 2 years of experience in lead or supporting instructional role in acute care physical therapy and/or neurological physical therapy at an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. * Experience with Canvas as LMS, including grading, video integration, discussion board, etc. * Experience with video file editing and course integration. * Experience with Zoom meetings, including break-out rooms, chat, polling, etc. Assistant Professor: * An academic terminal degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent). * American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Certification. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in lead or supporting instructional role in acute care physical therapy and/or neurological physical therapy at an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. * A record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations. * Experience with virtual instruction and use of the Canvas LMS. * Experience with formal program evaluation practices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels throughout the institution. * Leadership ability and effective collaboration with administrative and teaching teams.
