Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.01 - $24.69 / hour

The Lead Outpatient Scheduling Specialist meets all of the requirements for the Outpatient Scheduling Specialist, Outpatient Scheduling Facilitator and are proficient in both areas. This position requires commitment to delivering exceptional customer service as well as being a patient advocate, motivator, organizer and good communicator. Responsible for guiding and monitoring the team with the workflow processes. They will bring a positive attitude, which supports a positive working environment for the team while embracing process improvement initiatives. In addition, they will demonstrate strong listening skills, acknowledging patients and team concerns to ensure departmental needs are met. This position requires a highly motivated person capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of scheduling and customer service experience required. 1 year of facilitator experience preferred.

License: N/A

Other: Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Knowledge and understanding of telephone etiquette including strong listening skills are essential. Excellent customer service, including verbal and written communication skills required. Data entry skills and excellent computer skills are required including knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Epic. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
