Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Location: Tulsa, OK Department: Operations Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Shift: 2nd Shift Lead People. Drive Production. Deliver Results. Wedlake is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong fabrication background to lead daily shop operations and ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met. The ideal candidate has experience supervising teams in a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of welding, fit-up, blueprint reading, and production workflows. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong shop floor presence, workforce accountability, and a commitment to meeting schedules and customer requirements. What You'll Do Lead second shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives. Supervise, coach, and develop fabrication and welding teams supporting manufacturing operations. Hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, safety, quality, and productivity expectations. Monitor workflow and address staffing, equipment, material, and production issues to maintain production schedules. Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to remove obstacles and keep production on track. Ensure work is performed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and provide hands-on leadership throughout the shift. Utilize production metrics and department performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results. Support a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment. Experience leading production teams in a fabrication environment. Strong understanding of welding, fitting, and metal fabrication processes. Knowledge of MIG and Flux-Core welding processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications. Proven ability to achieve production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Experience managing employee performance, attendance, accountability, and corrective action. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel. Experience in tank fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, structural steel, or similar heavy manufacturing environments. Why Join Wedlake?
