Position Title: Production Team Lead
Wage: $22.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 5:00pm (6 Days/Week - Rotating Day Off) We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to oversee daily production activities and support the production team in meeting quality, safety, and productivity goals. This role works closely with the Shift Supervisor and Foreman to coordinate staffing, monitor production output, and ensure efficient operations throughout the shift. Production Team Lead Responsibilities: - Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor and Foreman to meet daily production requirements - Assign and reassign operators as needed throughout the shift - Lead and support production team members to ensure production goals are achieved - Monitor production activities and verify product quality standards - Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation - Monitor inventory levels of production-related supplies - Identify equipment issues and submit maintenance requests as needed - Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment - Operate a forklift, if certified and authorized Requirements for Production Team Lead: - 5 to 10 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred - Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is highly preferred - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English or Spanish - Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ability to support quality, environmental, health, and safety standards - Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift - Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels Why Join Us? - Competitive pay - Stable full-time schedule - Leadership opportunity with room for growth - Team-oriented work environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
