Position Title: Envelope Machine Adjuster

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Envelope Machine Adjuster at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now! Envelope Machine Adjuster Responsibilities: - Make proper size changes and adjustments to all assigned machines in accordance with estimated change times; obtain approval from lead adjuster or supervisor on start-up of new orders - Monitor assigned machines and performance of Operators to ensure quality (folding, gumming, printing, count, packaging, etc.) and run speed standards are being met - Troubleshoot operating difficulties, analyze machine operations and make necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions - Provide training and assistance to coworkers, including other Adjusters - Ensure change parts are cleaned and returned to assigned areas at completion of order - Perform minor machine maintenance and assist maintenance team with major repairs and/or machine moves - Monitor machine shutdowns, where applicable, to ensure proper cleaning Requirements for Envelope Machine Adjuster: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous experience within a manufacturing setting; paper and/or converting industry experience preferred - Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope converting equipment (FL Smithe or W+D) preferred; printing experience highly preferred - Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler - Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Basic computer skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
