Technical Writer

You will be partnering with a leading cloud platform client dedicated to transforming how businesses understand and leverage their most critical asset: data. As a vital contributor, you will directly shape the user experience and ensure seamless product adoption by crafting essential documentation for complex B2B SaaS solutions, particularly focusing on critical installation procedures. Your expertise will empower users, enhance product clarity, and significantly impact customer success, playing a crucial role in bridging the gap between intricate technology and user understanding.

The Opportunity

This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute as a key technical writer for an innovative data intelligence platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring users can effortlessly set up and utilize the platform's powerful features. You will collaborate closely with product managers, support engineering, and fellow technical writers to develop comprehensive, precise, and user-friendly documentation and release notes that directly influence user satisfaction and product adoption. Your primary focus will be on creating clear, concise installation procedures, ensuring seamless product integration and user success.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with product managers, support engineering, and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of product features, functionality, and target audience.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, with a strong emphasis on installation procedures, alongside clear and informative release notes.
• Ensure all documentation is consistently accurate, exceptionally well-organized, and easily consumable by a diverse user base.
• Integrate seamlessly into agile development sprints, delivering high-quality documentation on time and aligned with project requirements.
• Leverage modern technical writing tools such as GitBook and/or Markdown to produce and manage content.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders to seek clarification, gather additional information, and ensure complete accuracy.
• Conduct thorough documentation audits to identify and implement continuous improvements, enhancing overall content quality and user experience.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a technical writer, specifically for complex B2B SaaS products.
• A strong understanding of data quality concepts and underlying technologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and accessible language.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in both independent work settings and collaborative team environments.
• Proficiency in using technical writing tools, including GitBook and/or Markdown.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and workflows.
• A genuine passion for creating clear, concise, and highly informative technical documentation that empowers users.
