Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Salesforce Professional Services leads the strategy, development, and execution of technology services within a defined portfolio. This role serves as a business, sales, and solutions leader, driving alignment across Sales, Solution Architects, and Services teams while ensuring operational excellence and achievement of financial, customer, and coworker outcomes.

What you will do

Practice Growth, Client Engagement & Business Leadership

  • * Lead Salesforce Professional Services teams to achieve financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and coworker development objectives.

  • * Drive practice growth through services revenue, profitability, pipeline development, forecasting, utilization, and strategic business planning.

  • * Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, and Services teams to identify, shape, and close strategic opportunities while supporting executive customer engagements.

  • * Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, Salesforce, and key partner organizations to drive joint go-to-market initiatives and long-term growth.

  • * Participate in customer meetings, solution development, proposal reviews, sales pursuits, and C-suite discussions as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor.

Delivery Excellence & Customer Success*

  • Provide executive oversight for Salesforce consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services engagements.

  • * Ensure successful project delivery through strong governance, resource planning, risk management, financial controls, and customer communication.

  • * Own customer satisfaction, loyalty, and successful business outcomes across strategic enterprise engagements.

  • * Lead resolution of complex customer, delivery, operational, and commercial issues while maintaining high-quality service delivery standards.

Portfolio & Operational Leadership

  • * Define the Salesforce services portfolio strategy, including onboarding new offerings, retiring legacy services, and developing reusable methodologies, accelerators, and service assets.

  • * Collaborate with sales and account teams to expand customer adoption of existing and emerging Salesforce technologies.

  • * Establish operating rhythms for business reviews, workforce planning, forecasting, capacity management, and performance tracking.

People & Partner Leadership

  • * Lead, coach, mentor, and develop managers, architects, consultants, engineers, and project leaders.

  • * Build workforce capabilities through certification programs, career development, succession planning, and leadership development.

  • * Develop strong relationships with Salesforce and strategic partner organizations, including services leaders, engineering leaders, and account teams, to align resources, capabilities, and growth objectives.

  • * Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

What we expect of you

  • * Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years of experience delivering large scale, enterprise-class technical Salesforce solutions including planning, development, implementation and support, including 3 years managerial experience OR, 14+ years of work experience delivering large scale, enterprise-class technical Salesforce solutions including planning, development, implementation and support, including 3 years managerial experience.

  • * Ability to lead teams and gain consensus.

  • * Ability to identify and resolve client, project, and team challenges.

  • * Poven negotiation skills.

  • * Experience working with vendors and business partners.

  • * Strong collaboration with Sales and leadership teams to achieve service goals.

  • * Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

  • * Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

  • * Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • * Ability to manage ambiguity, change, and risk effectively.

  • * Demonstrated success leading teams to deliver critical results.

  • * Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.

  • * Ability to develop long-range plans for complex initiatives.

  • * Experience leading a Salesforce consulting or professional services practice.

  • * Salesforce certifications, a plus.

  • * Experience managing Salesforce partner relationships and alliance programs.

  • * Expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Industry Clouds, and Managed Services offerings.

Pay range: $140,150 - $185,000 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 35% subject to terms and conditions of plan
