Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced Emergency Management Program Manager. The Emergency Management Program Manager (EMPM) is responsible for the development and implementation of the Emergency Preparedness Management Program, ensuring the protective force is capably of responding effectively to a broad array of potential operational interruptions and/or emergencies. The EMPM assesses risks, current conditions and procedures, Department of Energy (DOE) Orders and guidelines to determine a prioritized (based on risk) plan to implement, then refine and enhance, implement, and continually assess the effectiveness of the plan, revising as needed. The EMPM uses the existing Occupant Emergency Plans (OEPs) and expert knowledge of emergency response to prepare training class for delivery to all DOE employees, personnel, and visitors. The EMPM provides day-to-day administrative support to the DOE Federal Agent (FA) serving in the customer's role of Emergency Management Program Manager. Position will require security clearance, consistent with contract requirements and government approval. U.S. or Naturalized citizenship is required. This position is contingent upon contract award, and will be located on site in Washington DC area or Germantown, MD. As the Emergency Management Program Manager, here's the work you'll do:

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this role is $175,000- $225,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
