Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders and maintain related data in JD Edwards and customer portals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer order status inquiries, expedite requests and delivery updates.
- Proactively communicate any delays or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.
- Process order changes in coordination with planning and production.
- Record contractual discrepancies in customer portal ensuring timely resolution.
Cross Functional Support
- In coordination with production and shipping, issue purchase orders to outside processors, proactively tracking deliveries and reporting delays to the production team.
- Prepare shipping and compliance documentation as required.
- Print work orders for distribution to the production floor.
- Complete work orders with a focus on data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Support cycle counts or physical inventory as needed.
- Support team with administrative tasks as required.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance order management, efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPI's) such as On-Time Delivery and backlog status.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for missed targets.

Qualifications
- MRP/ERP experience, JD Edwards a plus
- Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to perform repetitious work and maintain a high attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures or operating procedures.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing operations and process flows
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in the aerospace industry or in related manufacturing environments is preferred.
