Human Resources Business Partner, Senior Advisor

Peraton's Space Sector HR Team is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support multiple programs within our Federal Civilian portfolio, specifically across key Homeland/National Security programs. This role supports a geographically dispersed workforce of 500+ employees and partners closely with leaders across the business to deliver strategic, results-driven HR support.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders across a large, dispersed client group to execute key HR activities including workforce planning, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation reviews, leadership development, training, and engagement initiatives.
* Drive HR initiatives and projects, balancing multiple priorities while delivering on timeline commitments.
* Build strong, consultative relationships across HR Centers of Excellence and business stakeholders.
* Analyze workforce and organizational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
* Guide leaders through complex employee relations issues, fostering positive employee and team dynamics.
* Manage confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
* Serve as an ambassador for Peraton's Strategic Imperatives, Operational Priorities, and sector culture and engagement initiatives.

• Minimum 12 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years as a Human Resources Business Partner.
  * Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
  * Strong communication skills across all levels, with experience presenting to large groups and facilitating HR discussions with managers and employees.
  * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office tools.
  * Must reside in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC area.
  * Ability and willingness to be onsite 4 days per week.
  * Demonstrated ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

• HR certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  * Experience with Workday, iCIMS, PowerBI, or other Human Capital Management systems.
  * Experience in the Defense industry, Unions, or Service Contract Act (SCA).
  * Active or ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
