Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, located in Southwest Florida, is the largest independent regional airline component MRO facility in the industry. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team.

The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

  • Vouches vendor invoice by matching purchase order, purchase order receiver, and vendor invoice.
  • Assigns applicable general ledger codes to non-PO vouchers/expense reports by analyzing invoice/expense reports
  • Enters approved vouchers into ERP system for payment
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments.
  • Works with the parts room and purchasing to resolve receiver and purchase order discrepancies
  • Pays team members by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Stores and files documents.
  • Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years prior accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
