Business Management Analyst - Senior Manager

Job Summary
Lafayette Group is seeking an experienced professional to provide advanced consulting support for a critical federal government program. Join our team of high-end strategy and management consultants and professionals who have served on the front lines of homeland security, law enforcement, criminal justice, emergency management, and the military.
Lafayette Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated subject matter expert to support impactful projects for our federal clients, with a focus on providing support to groups that engage with critical infrastructure stakeholders. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in interacting with others to coordinate activities and learn stakeholder needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to a client program that plans, coordinates, manages, and sustains a range of activities associated with critical infrastructure engagement, national-level coordination, and advisory bodies.
  • Interact with government councils, advisory bodies, committees, and other formal governance structures that support national-level critical infrastructure security and resilience
  • Support planning, management, operationalization, and sustainment of the full lifecycle of council and advisory activities, as well as the facilitation of cross-council coordination, strategic communication, and records and governance management essential to the mission.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting or other related field
  • Subject matter expertise with critical infrastructure sector organizations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to advise and provide leadership to client programs
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust

Desired Skills
  • Prior experience collaborating with third-party stakeholders of a federal government program
Location: Hybrid / Client-site (Northern VA);

Desired Start Date: 10/5/2026

Salary Range: $145K -$175K
LGI carefully considers various factors when determining salary, including but not limited to education and training, professional experience, knowledge, skills and competencies, licensure and certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. New employees are not usually hired at the top of the estimated salary range and salary decisions depend on the circumstances and factors for each case. Salary is only one aspect of LGI's generous total compensation package.

Federal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
