Description

    Developing stress analysis reports and reviewing/signing drawings for developmental systems to program management and customers
  • Supporting P-8A modifications to include internal racks, sensors/antennas, and radomes, as well as ensure accompanying Flight Clearance Technical Data Packages (TDPs) are complete and accurate
  • Performing research and analysis on projects to enhance the technical development of the product and/or service
  • Working closely with the design engineers to ensure the final product is sound/complete
  • Providing on-site engineering support to the Fleet Support Team and responding to customer requests
  • Reviewing and signing technical documents to include drawings and stress analysis
  • Providing support solving problems in a narrow specialty field and preparing engineering and technical analysis and reports
  • Formulating, evaluating, and correlation broad engineering/scientific concepts, guiding and the analysis of unique problems, and developing new and improved techniques and methods

Requirements

  • BS/BA and appropriate work experience, prefer 5 years of experience or more



Desired Skills

  • A familiarity working with a wide range of government civilians, military personnel, other contractors, and vendors and the ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email and in person, and analytical skills
  • Other important skills include verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, able to read and correctly interpret engineering Level 3 electrical drawings and documents, short-term planning, and computer skills, and knowledge of engineering methods, operation techniques, and other principles in determining potential solutions
  • Skills must include use of Auto-CAD and modeling software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite to perform day to day tasks
  • Required to assign, manage, review, and approve avionics team work products

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
