A Taste of What You'll Do

As a Sales Account Specialist Lead for Ready to Drink and Beer, you will bring GALLO brands to life by building advocacy with retailers, buyers, and on-premise partners. You will lead forward-deployed Sales Account Specialists, set clear expectations, coach in market, strengthen team capabilities, and drive accountability for execution across assigned accounts and markets.

You will create meaningful customer and consumer experiences while expanding distribution, visibility, and recognition for GALLO's growing RTD and Beer portfolio. Through regular sales calls, you will influence shelf, cold box, menu, point-of-sale, and suggested retail price programs while leading brand activations, account-level training, product demonstrations, and consumer engagement initiatives where permitted.

Success in this role calls for a collaborative leader who can turn market insights into action. You will use sales technology and performance data to identify opportunities, guide distributor personnel, support account goals, and make recommendations that accelerate market growth. By sharing compelling brand stories and modeling GALLO's standards, you will help customers, account teams, and field resources deliver memorable experiences and sustainable results.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 year of Gallo Winery sales or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of winery sales, distiller sales, distributor sales, direct to consumer marketing, or brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of winery sales, distiller sales, distributor sales direct to consumer marketing, or brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older
• Required to travel by air, car, and or train up to 80% during the course of business.
• Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Required to employ an alternative work schedule to include evenings and weekends.
• Required to obtain a liquor license as required by state/locally. Must maintain the eligibility to hold such license during time in role.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

The Fine Print

• We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
• This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.
