We are expanding our Consumer Division and looking for a talented Demand Planner to help drive accurate forecasting, optimized inventory, and strong Cross functional alignment. -functional alignment.

Position Summary
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts for assigned product categories within Almo's Consumer Division. This role plays a key role in ensuring product availability, minimizing inventory risk, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with a leading demand planning platform, strong analytical skills, and 2-3 years of experience in forecasting and/or inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and improve SKU-level forecasts using demand planning software and internal analytics. Level forecasts using demand planning software and internal analytics.
  • Analyze historical data, trends, promotions, seasonality, POS data, and customer input to refine forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Category Management, and Operations to align assumptions and communicate forecast changes.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Support S&OP / IBP processes through forecast presentations, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Review inventory levels, inbound supply, and risk exposure; recommend adjustments to maintain healthy stock levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on new product introductions, discontinuations, and lifecycle planning.
  • Generate and interpret demand planning reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support process improvements, tool enhancements, and data governance within the planning function.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and statistical analysis.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
