Rite-Hite is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager (Procure-to-Pay) to join our team. This position leads accounts payable operations with a strong focus on driving efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across procure-to-pay processes. This role manages a team of AP Specialists and oversees invoice processing, vendor payments, employee Travel & Expense (T&E) reimbursements, and PTP master data maintenance while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. The Manager partners with Procurement, Treasury, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize processes, leverage automation, and scale operations to support business growth. This role owns AP processes today and will evolve into full Procure-to-Pay ownership as capabilities mature.

This position is a hybrid role with 3 days a week out of our Milwaukee, WI Global Headquarters.

Essentials Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Owns end-to-end AP and T&E operations and strategy, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, approval matrices, and internal control requirements
  • Leads process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives and develops the AP team
  • Serves as the primary escalation point for complex vendor, payment, and process issues
  • Leads, coaches, and develops the accounts payable team
  • Owns PTP technology solutions and partners with IT and solution providers

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or closely related field is required
  • 6-8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay, including people leadership.
  • Experience leading operations in a process-driven or shared services environment
  • Experience driving process improvements, automation, or AP transformation initiatives; ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Experience owning business systems and partnering with IT and solution providers

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to drive accountability for meeting service expectations of internal and external inquiries, including resolution of escalated issues
  • Ability to establish and reinforce standard work, approval requirements, and segregation of duties across assigned processes
  • Applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor performance, identify trends and root causes, and drive corrective actions
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts by identifying process inefficiencies, leveraging technology, supporting standardization and automation, and driving sustainable improvements over time
