Job Title: Supervisor, RES Department: Customization Reports to: Manager, Customization Effective Date: Job Summary: This position oversees order processing, order allocation, customization documentation, payroll, contractor trim inventory, staffing, scheduling, and employee performance. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Supervisor works closely with Customer Service and other departments to ensure orders are entered correctly, shipped and billed on time, inventory is accurately received, and daily departmental operations are completed efficiently and effectively. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for theCustomization Departmentwithin the distribution center. Oversee dailyorder processing activitiesto ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with Order Allocation to ensure all orders are properly allocated andshipped and billed on time. Work closely withCustomer Serviceto ensure orders are entered correctly and contain accurate information required for shipping. Monitor customization documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures. Identify and resolve order processing or documentation issues that may impact shipping or billing deadlines. Oversee departmentalpayroll activitiesand ensure employee time records are accurate and completed according to established procedures. Oversee the receipt and management ofcontractor trim inventory. Ensure trim inventory is received accurately and in accordance with applicablePurchase Orders. Review inventory receipts and address discrepancies between received materials and purchase order requirements. Supervise, lead, coach, and support department staff. Coordinate employeework schedules, staffing, and vacation requeststo ensure daily operations and workload requirements are met. Monitor department workflow and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines. Train and develop employees to ensure they understand departmental procedures a Required Skills/Abilities: Strongleadership and communication skills. Ability to train, coach, and assist associates effectively. Ability to understand and communicateActive Pick procedures and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize work and balance changing daily workflow. Ability to work effectively in afast-paced warehouse environment. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to identify picking errors and workflow issues. Ability to meet productivity and accuracy goals. Ability to work independently while supporting the supervisor and department team. Basic computer skills and ability to complete work reports. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and other departments. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related fieldpreferred. Additional training or education in supervision, leadership, inventory management, or distribution operations is a plus. 3-5 years of experiencein distribution, warehouse operations, customization, order processing, inventory control, or a related field. Previoussupervisory or management experiencerequired or strongly preferred. Experience supervising employees and coordinating daily departmental workflow. Experience in a distribution center or similar operational environment strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability tostand and walk throughout the distribution centeras needed. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to regularly move between office, warehouse, and customization work areas. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move around the work environment as required. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials or inventory as required by the department. Ability to visually inspect inventory, trim, order documentation, labels, and computer information for accuracy. Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and other typical warehouse conditions. | |
