The American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) is a membership organization comprised of rigorously trained skin cancer and reconstructive surgeons specializing in Mohs surgery, the most effective treatment for skin cancer today. The ACMS serves as the voice of the specialty, promoting and advancing the highest standards of patient care through fellowship training, research, education, and public advocacy. JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of ACMS communications and public relations/marketing activities as related to the client's mission and Strategic Plan. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (minimum of 37.5 hours/week):
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of communications experience including publications, web, public relations, and social media oversight. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; computer proficiency. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Approximately 1-2 weeks per year. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a full-time position is located in our office in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (lifting, packaging, etc.)
Ability to lift 50 pounds. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Occasional evening committee calls via Zoom as needed. | |
