Description Illinois Roofing was found in 1990 and joined Tecta America in 2005. Located in the suburban Chicago area, we serve the Chicago area, Northern Illinois, and Indiana. We specialize in planning and improvement objectives to help provide an efficient roofing experience. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimatorfor our Lisle (IL) shop. The Commercial Roofing Estimator will prepare bids and cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role reviews plans and specifications, calculates labor and material costs, prepares proposals, and works with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process. Responsibilities Prepare roofing estimates, bids, and proposals Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents Perform material takeoffs and obtain vendor pricing Track and manage bids from pre-bid through project handoff Coordinate with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers Create submittals, product documentation, and related project paperwork Support project management and operations teams as needed Qualifications 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs Experience with estimating software (Edge preferred) Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Knowledge of roofing systems and manufacturer requirements Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Comfortable climbing ladders and accessing rooftops High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual Spanish is a plus Illinois Roofing, a Tecta America Company, offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc.
