Senior Specialist, Plant Finance

The Role:

We are seekingaSenior Specialistto join our team to help supportsitesinDanbury, CT, Aurora, IL, Green Bay, WI, Billerica/Bedford, Ambler, Riegelwood, Toronto, and Chaska.The SeniorSpecialistprovides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in theMaterials Solutions(MS) Division. The individual's responsibilities are to assist in the maintenance of the plant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report to the Plant Finance Lead.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Analyze,understandand interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.

• Supportmonthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;

• Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational,MSDivision and Corporate goals;

• Support the establishment ofstandard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for cost roll;

• Support and review proposedproductivity projects;

• Review/explainmanufacturingvariances;

• Business/Operationsdecisionsupportthrough analysis;

• Providetimelyplant results and drive accountability;

• Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plantsare properlystatedand conform togenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserve amounts;

• Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees.

• Travel

What We Seek:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financewith 3-5years experience;

• Financialmodeling andanalysis experience;

• Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;

• Knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts;

• Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills;

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment;

• Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude;

• Proficient SAP,Exceland PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus;

• Strong communicationskills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.

* Compensation: $85,000.00-$114,000.00 a year with actual pay dependent on candidate's overall skills for the role
