Description MaineHealth Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Podiatry Farmington, is recruiting a Physician Associate (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)to join our experienced Orthopedic team in Farmington, ME.Under physician supervision, the successful candidate will provide medical care through office-based evaluation and treatment ofoutpatients as well as orthopedic surgical support. The APP will workin surgical, hospital, and clinic settings as part of a dynamic team. The orthopedics practice includes a mix of orthopedic surgeons with range of skills including joint replacement, fracture care, sports medicine, and podiatry.Orthopedic and orthopedic surgical experience are preferred, including experience providing first-assist support to orthopedic surgeons. Candidates must also be able to provide care for patients across all age groups. Schedule:Primary responsibilities are performed Monday through Friday, with flexibility in scheduling within standard business hours. Routine Clinical Settings: Responsibilities include first-assist coverage in the operating room, inpatient rounding on the medical-surgical unit, ambulatory clinic practice, and emergency department consultation and evaluation. Participates in call coverage as part of a shared rotation for Orthopedic Surgery. Minimum Qualifications:

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives and other premiums. The pay range for this position is $122,570 to $158,620 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
