Conxall is a U.S.-based manufacturer of custom-designed connectors and cable assemblies. We specialize in highly engineered products built for harsh environments and proudly serve the industrial, agricultural, lighting, safety, outdoor recreation, and medical industries.

The Material Control & Team Lead is responsible for the receipt, storage, accuracy, and movement of materials and finished goods. This position ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counting, coordinates domestic and international shipments, supports order fulfillment activities, and provides daily leadership to Material Control personnel.

Location: Villa Park, IL

Shift: M - F 7 am - 3:30pm

Pay: $19.54/hour

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Handle incoming material and finished goods receipts and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and organized storage locations.
  • Conduct daily inventory cycle counts to verify stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and coordinate shipments for domestic and international customers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to coordinate shipments and address material shortages.
  • Print and distribute pick lists for order fulfillment personnel.
  • Maintain shipping and inventory documentation.
  • Provide daily direction and support to Material Control personnel.

  • Knowledge of inventory control and material handling practices.
  • Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.


Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or material management preferred.
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Oversees the daily workflow of Material Control personnel.
  • Assists with training and development of team members.
  • Provides direction and support to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
