As the Global Process Owner - Costing, you will shape the future of how Molex manages costing across a complex global manufacturing network. Working at the intersection of Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, and Operations, you will create scalable processes, strengthen controls, and lead transformation initiatives that improve cost visibility, consistency, and decision-making across the enterprise. You will define the strategy, governance, and operating framework that drives costing decisions across regions, business units, and manufacturing sites worldwide.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building structure where it does not yet exist, and influencing global stakeholders to drive change.

Our Team

This team is responsible for developing the frameworks, governance, and capabilities that enable our businesses to operate effectively around the world. Within the organization, the Global Process Owner team serves as the steward of critical finance processes, partnering with Supply Chain Finance, Controllership, IT, and business leaders to establish standards, improve processes, and support transformation. As our business continues to evolve through growth, acquisitions, and technology modernization, this team plays a key role in designing how finance processes should operate in the future.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute the global vision, strategy, and roadmap for product costing across Molex.
  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide costing policies, frameworks, and standards that support consistent decision-making across plants, business units, divisions, and functions.
  • Lead the design and documentation of scalable end-to-end costing processes, including governance, ownership structures, and supporting controls.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Finance, Operations, IT, and the Global Costing Council to solve complex costing challenges and align on future-state processes.
  • Establish governance routines, performance measures, and accountability mechanisms to ensure global adoption and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize costing processes as business needs evolve.
  • Support major business initiatives, acquisitions, and system transformation efforts by ensuring costing processes can scale with organizational growth.
  • Influence stakeholders across the enterprise to challenge legacy approaches and implement innovative solutions that create long-term value.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in cost accounting, product costing, manufacturing finance, supply chain finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience supporting, improving, standardizing, or governing finance and operational processes.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and drive improvements.
  • Ability to analyze complex business issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence decisions across stakeholders.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience serving as a process owner, subject matter expert, or key contributor for product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, Cost of Goods Sold, or related finance processes.
  • Experience designing, standardizing, improving, or governing end-to-end business processes, including the development of controls, policies, and operating models.
  • Experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, ERP modernization, or S/4HANA initiatives.
  • SAP experience, including CO, MM, or PP modules.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics, AI, or emerging technologies within a global manufacturing environment.

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $145,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
