Digital Technology Specialist

Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for a Digital Technology Specialist in our Aviation Midwest group. This person will be expected to report to a client site office in Springfield, IL.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting standardization of software products for operational efficiency within airport civil engineering.
• Supporting technical platforms, programs and standards.
• Assisting in the development of internal training programs and resources for aviation staff.
• Assisting in the organization of internal and external resources for effective software utilization.
• Assisting in managing software licensing and user account creation and closeout.
• Offering IT support, including software deployment and update testing.
• Other duties as assigned

A valid driver's license and occasional travel (including overnight stays) may be required.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• An associate's degree (or higher) in information technology, computer science, software engineering, digital media or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have any/all the following:

• Previous experience in the airport civil engineering industry
• Strong communication skills.
• Work well under pressure and be goal and deadline oriented.
• Demonstrates strong independent work capabilities.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills and technology quickly.
• Efficiently multitask and manage simultaneous projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
