Building Automation systems include HVAC Controls, Lighting Controls, Electronic Locking, Keycard Access, and Security Camera Systems. Position: TAB Technician I Nature and Level of Work: Perform entry level TAB Technician work for testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems. Key Responsibilities: Assist with collecting HVAC equipment nameplate data. Assist with entering data into computerized TAB forms. Assist with inspection of building construction to determine if equipment and devices are installed per the design allowing TAB work to be performed. Notify the supervisor of any unresolved deficiencies in construction. Assist with air and water measurements, calibration of devices, and adjusting dampers, valves and motor speeds. Properly and safely use, clean, operate, store and maintain tools and TAB equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Work toward successfully completing all Skills Category training courses and tests for TAB Technician II. Shift
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / Monday-Friday. Minimum Qualifications
Personnel in the TAB Technician employee development program: All personnel: Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with commercial HVAC maintenance, controls, commissioning or TAB is preferred. Must be able to work from ladders and mobile elevated work platforms. A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required Anticipated Hiring Range
