Position Summary

The Parker Hannifin's Corporate Internship Program was established in 1978 to identify and develop college students who show promise of being productive Parker Team Members by providing real-world experience in disciplines critical to Parker's business. As an intern, you will gain experience while supporting the Parker Corporate trade Compliance Department's function.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate export denied party screening
  • Organize and set up international documents to comply with US Customs requirements
  • Update addresses, contacts and communicate changes on facility list
  • Assist and direct customs brokers with import clearance questions
  • Run and compare US Customs reports
  • SharePoint and PowerBI maintenance
  • Assist with trade compliance projects

We seek interns who will make meaningful contributions in support of our service to our customers and the company's Win Strategy.

Qualifications

  • In-person role based out of Cleveland, OH
  • Ability to work full-time during non-college period
  • Ability to work part-time during college period
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a specialization or concentration in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field at an accredited 4-yr college or university
  • Have completed at least two years of college
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.7
  • Have completed courses in Supply Chain Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
