Pay Range*: $156,665.60 - $235,019.20/annually

Position Summary

Responsible for administrative, billing, coding, and management oversight of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic practices that provide outpatient services at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Job responsibilities to be performed in a timely and effective manner with the highest level of service, quality based on accreditation standards, productivity and coordination utilizing the five (5) Simply Better steps with every patient, physician, employer, and team member interaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

• Manages and directs efficient and effective operations for the Cardiac Surgery Clinic. Ensures smooth and effective operations for out-patient services for all assigned specialties.
• Implements strategies to meet organizational strategic goals.
• Provides clinical coverage to assist with patient demand or staffing needs.
• Collaborates well with physicians to promote positive relationships to establish open communication to attain and maintain all accreditation standards; NAPBC, CoC, Jt Commission, etc.
• Promotes positive, collaborative relationships with physicians, establishes and maintains open communication by addressingissues of concern in a timely manner.
• Follows company policies, procedures, and directives.
• Interacts in a positive and constructive manner.
• Implements process improvement techniques utilizing Lean methodology.
• Manages third party billing practices, including co-pay collection and reimbursement for services rendered.
• Manages front-office, non-clinical staff to support overall practice management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' nursing experience
• Minimum 3 years' clinical leadership experience or demonstrated progressive leadership in a clinical setting preferred.
• Cardiac Surgery Clinic experience preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree in business-related field preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
