About the Role

As CQO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery. You will serve as a key member of our senior executive team, providing strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of quality, safety, and clinical performance improvement across our division. You will be a champion for excellence, inspiring and empowering our physicians and staff to deliver the highest quality care possible.

What You Will Do



  • Drive a Culture of Quality: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, where every member of our team is committed to providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
  • Lead with Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and positions us as a leader in the region.
  • Collaborate and Inspire: Partner with ministry, service area, and clinical leaders to drive quality initiatives and achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Champion Innovation: Identify and implement best practices to enhance care delivery, patient safety, and health status.
  • Mentor and Develop: Support the development of clinical leaders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where they can thrive.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Medical Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Greenbelt certification, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) (preferred).
  • 10+ years of senior management experience in a large healthcare organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in a complex, multi-site health system.
  • 5+ years of experience with The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation processes and standards.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing strategic plans and initiatives.
