The Raquel Zarin Internship Program:

Our internship program honors Raquel Zarin, a beloved employee, mentor, and friend at the Ad Council. Raquel passed away in 2021, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, integrity, and excellence that continues to inspire us. She believed in nurturing young talent, fostering welcoming environments, and championing access to lifesaving resources. At the Ad Council, these are principles and values we hold and hope that our interns will embrace and carry forward throughout their careers.

The Raquel Zarin Internship Program is a remote-first engagement and will run from June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026. All interns will be paid $19/hour and are eligible to earn overtime. Ability to work East Coast hours is required.

Job Summary:

The Digital Media & Operations (DMO) Center of Excellence is our in-house team that oversees the Ad Council's paid media program.

We are seeking a Digital Media Intern who is passionate about digital advertising and eager to delve into the rapidly evolving media and ad-tech landscape. This individual will support our team with the day-to-day management of our paid media campaigns, while gaining hands-on exposure to the media buying platforms in our ad tech stack, such as The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Vistar Media, Meta, YouTube, and Google Search.

The intern will also have the opportunity to conduct landscape analyses and research emerging trends to help inform future media strategies for Ad Council campaigns.

What you'll do:



  • Support the day-to-day management of programmatic and social advertising campaigns, including monitoring live flight performance, reviewing campaign builds and reports, and tracking deliverables in Asana.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Assist the Digital Media team in developing paid social and search reporting dashboards and workflows alongside an external partner.
  • Conduct landscape analyses of new trends in the programmatic media ecosystem, such as agentic AI capabilities across demand side platforms and high-impact CTV performance partners.
  • Assist with partner management by scheduling and attending calls, drafting meeting recaps, and maintaining accurate contact and meeting notes in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media & Operations team to identify and document best practices across media buying platforms.
  • Deliver a final capstone presentation that summarizes key research insights, operational learnings, and actionable recommendations to support Ad Council campaigns.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
