The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Clinical Research Core is seeking a data analyst. Will work with researchers and Principal Investigators to provide data analytical support on research projects.

Responsibilities



  • Extracting data from source documents for database entry.
  • Management of multiple databases related to ongoing and previous data collection.
  • Integration of clinical and research data bases.
  • Coordinating data backup and transfers between research studies
  • Managing clinical and research databases.
  • Coordinating data backup and transfers between research studies
  • Oversee data quality assurance and control.
  • Manuscript development.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of research proposals and data collection protocols (particularly collection of gut and oral biological samples).
  • Preparation and presentation of findings at conferences and meetings.
  • Collaborating with research personnel and investigators.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Prefer a Master's in epidemiology and some experience working with high performance computing clusters is preferable.
  • The successful candidate must possess computer proficiency with excellent data management and data analysis skills, including extensive knowledge of SAS and Excel, and a working knowledge of R statistical software packages.
  • Familiarity with epidemiological design and statistical analysis is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.
  • Advanced level MS Office skills
