Summary:

Starting Wage: $21.28; Plus $1.00 shift premium

Schedule: 8:00pm to 8:00am, 2/3 rotating shift

Our growing company is looking for a Manufacturing Helper to join our team! As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure.
  • Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
  • Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
  • Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
  • Helps perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • High awareness toward safety.
  • Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Associate/college-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
  • Extrusion experience.



Physical Requirements:



  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 30lbs.
  • Hand/eye coordination.
