Job Description

SEE is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, improve, and maintain complex machinery and facilities, supporting plant goals of safety, quality, and productivity. The Maintenance Technician will work in a challenging and rewarding environment, ensuring the seamless operation of equipment and facilities.

Work schedule is:

1st shift: 7am - 3pm

2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm

Will rotate on weekends the site is working.

Starting pay: $30 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • - Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment to minimize downtime and create a safe work environment.
  • - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment to enhance reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • - Assist in the specification of new equipment to ensure proper specification and application.
  • - Install new facility and production equipment according to schedule and assist in optimizing the performance of new equipment to maintain company profitability and competitive advantage.
  • - Develop, recommend, and implement improvements to facilities and equipment to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • - Repair or upgrade existing machine components to maintain a supply of replacement parts.
  • - Complete paperwork on repairs, preventive maintenance, parts requests, and project work to ensure proper documentation of work and communication of needs.
  • - Follow AIB and ISO guidelines while performing daily functions.

Qualifications

  • - General maintenance work background with primary strength in electrical and industrial.
  • - Proven experience in troubleshooting industrial control systems.
  • - Proficiency in AC/DC motors, drives, motor starters, speed feedback devices, transducers (sensors), programmable controllers (PLCs), and control signals.
  • - Proficient in reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and ladder logic/control diagrams.
  • - Skills in electrical/electronic, general welding, general machining, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with a strong emphasis on electrical.
  • - Availability for overtime, weekends, and possible off-shift work.
