Summary Responsible for developing and implementing key growth sales strategies and sales plans/programs achieve sales and/or retention goals. Develops and manages sales channels to include but not limited to Agency Sales, Telemarketing, Internet, and Direct Sales. Develops and manages sales channels and key accounts to support market area. Hires, trains, directs and supervises sales representatives. Description

Develops and implements sales strategies and sales plans/programs to drive sales growth and achieve sales and/or retention goals for assigned products and/or territories. Responsible for generating sufficient sales to cover cost of operations and provide profitable growth to the division.

Develops and manages sales channels to include but not limited to Agency Sales, Telemarketing, Internet, and Direct Sales.

Directs and maintains superior service and responsiveness to key accounts/distribution channel. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships for the corporation.

Evaluates sales plan/program efficiency and recommends changes as well as marketing programs and/or business development plans. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.

Responsible for budgeting, planning, and hiring necessary staff for assigned product lines.

Responsible for sales training to keep staff current on continuing education requirements as well as sales presentation and negotiating skills.

Required Education: Bachelor's

Required Work Experience: 10+ years sales and marketing experience to include three years Senior Markets experience. 5 years management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above. (may be concurrent)
