Nature of Work: Key Responsibilities: Civil Site Development Oversight: Develop detailed project scopes for site development, structural restoration and infrastructure improvement projects, engaging contracted consultants (architects, civil engineers, and design professionals) to drive accurate planning and execution. The position involves developing detailed project scope, schedules, and budgets for projects executed by contracted and/or internal consultants, including architects, engineers, and supporting design professionals. The candidate oversees the architectural and engineering development for studies, design, and construction projects and facilities, ensuring compliance with University Rules, Regulations, State Statutes, and related requirements. Additionally, the role includes reviewing and approving plans and specifications prepared by consultants, identifying and coordinating with additional consultants as needed, and facilitating effective communication with campus and community partners and stakeholders. The project manager manages consultants cost opinions and develops other project related costs in consideration of a total project cost, continually monitoring progress and status as the project design evolves. Active direction is provided to consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Initiating and facilitating consultant solicitation and selections, managing the design process, engaging in the bid process, and participating in construction phase activities as needed are also part of the role's responsibilities. Further duties involve planning project delivery and phasing opportunities, identifying priorities and drivers, scheduling design efforts as well as an overall project schedule, and determining the construction delivery method. Ongoing tasks include obtaining, tracking, and managing budgets, schedules, and scope, as well as conveying project requirements to consultants and overseeing administrative processes. Shift

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
We will use the preferred qualifications section as a key criterion in candidate evaluations. Has a minimum degree in Business Administration or Engineering and experience working within Higher Education. A Master's degree is preferred. A Missouri-registered, licensed civil/mechanical engineer is preferred, along with experience within the Higher Education, Design and/or Construction Industry. Professional certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), are also desirable. Anticipated Hiring Range
