Overview

Within the team of Business Functional Analyst (BFA), the role of the Analytical Change expert in the US Local Regulatory space is to analyze and define business requirements, translate them into business processes and liaise with Information Technology (IT) for the technical implementation. To fulfil this role, you will cover both a detailed understanding of the Business content and the reporting requirements, as well as your conceptual and technical representation in the data warehouse and the modelling within the corresponding technical reporting and calculation frameworks. On the one side, you will deal with Finance and Risk analytics and reporting specialists to cover and analyze their requirements, and on the other side with the IT department to specify these requirements and to ensure that they are technically integrated and implemented correctly.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for Data Analytics (High Volume & Content Driven) - Critical

  • Support Business and business impact analysis

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the US Regulatory Reports (Y9C, 002, Fr2900, FFIEX 009, FFIEC 019, 041, TIC Reports, DBSI Focus Reporting, FR 2900 etc) specifically the Fed Requirement and Bank Products that need to be reported

  • Change Management and Analytics - Understanding impact of changes and the Cost Benefit

  • Conceptual Design and Customization of Warehouse Components, Business Data Modelling, as well as Definition and Documentation of Requirements

  • Testing and Roll Out

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience in Risk Control / Accounting and working in financial industry, with high volume data analysis (Essential) and exhibit IT analytical skills, and in US Local Regulatory Reporting - Y9C, SCCL, Broker Dealer Reporting

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Investment Banking Products

  • Exhibit IT analytical (such as Structured Query Language (SQL), programming) and relationship management Skills

  • Working knowledge of AXIOM (Architecture and Functionality particularly to drill down and perform root cause analysis)

  • Content Knowledge (Banking Products, Accounting and GL Concepts)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken as well as excellent analytical skills

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics with core area in Controlling or other profession with business and information technology skills

  • Presentation & documentation skills

  • Committed excellent Team Player with Logical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn to define the problem and find the answers to the problems

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
