Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse (part-time)

Heritage is seeking a candidate to join its clinical team in our DeWitt office. This position will provide support to our physician/psychiatrist/advance practice nurse for individuals receiving services at our facility. We are looking for energetic, compassionate and empathic staff members who truly want to make a difference in the lives of others. This position is available immediately and will work up to 20 hours each week.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Provide high quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with best practice standards.
• Medication administration, medication monitoring and medication training to individuals visiting our outpatient facility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with other agency staff, consumers, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Motivated with a can-do attitude; creates and fosters a positive work experience for themselves and others.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and the team concept.
• Experience with electronic records and charting.
• Possess keen nursing skills and have the ability to multi-task.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines.
• Current undisciplined license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Salary Range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour (dependent on education, licensure and experience)
