Visually inspects mattresses and box springs for defects. Uses an air hose to remove dust. Uses scissors to trim excess threads. If mattress or box spring does not conform to appropriate standards, sends back to rework area for repairs. If the inspection is being conducted at the end of the matt or box spring conveyor, the inspector may also operate the packing machine. What You'll Need: Be able to lift up to 50 pounds with and without assistance. Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift. Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance-must be reliable and punctual.
