As an Instructional Designer II for the HR Technical Training & Development team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our internal technical teams are prepared with the training they need to succeed.

This is an on site role, and relocation is provided!

A sample or portfolio to showcase previous design work will be requested during the interview process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in capturing course requirements data through needs and gap analyses.

  • Update or review instructor-led & eLearning course outlines, lesson plans, storyboards, instructor, and participant materials.

  • Propose innovative learning solutions supported by adult learning theory.

  • Ensure that learning results are high quality and exceed the needs of the internal learning customer.

  • Use Articulate 360 to review, update, or edit online and mobile learning.

  • Send and analyze training evaluation data.

  • Conduct assigned training effectiveness checks.

  • Track and report on development team key performance indicators.

  • Lead multiple, complex tickets with tight deadlines and time-critical deliverables through their entire life cycle.

  • Work on projects with a geographically dispersed team.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in instructional design, education, communication, HR, or related subject OR 3+ years of professional experience designing and developing technology-based instructional materials in a technical environment.

  • Experience in Microsoft office applications.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite / Captivate / InDesign, or similar.

  • Experience with eLearning development applications such as Articulate 360/Captivate including technical skills storyboard development.

  • Excellent technical writing and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to partners and leaders.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:
  • Project Management experience.

  • Design experience across a wide variety of safety and technical skills.

  • Experience in virtual classroom, mobile, and other learning solutions.

  • Experience in Instructor led technical skills or safety course delivery.

  • Experience in Environmental Health & Safety learning solutions

  • Aerospace experience.

  • Experience with AS9100, DCMA, or FAA training effectiveness requirements and regulations.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $73,800.00-$103,320.00

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
