Description Job description Overview Structural Technologies VSL is seeking skilled Carpenters to work with our formwork and build forms for bearing grout pours. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and formwork with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to carpentry and general labor duties. Housing will be provided for out of town employees. Duties Construct and assemble formwork for various construction projects Build forms for bearing grout pours Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to complete projects on time Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries Experience Proven experience as a Carpenter Proficiency in formwork construction Strong understanding of safety protocols Ability to work in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Tools provided Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
