Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.
We are currently in search of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics in Silver Spring, Maryland. This position is an integral in the treatment and care of our clients and provides psychiatric medication monitoring as well as diagnostic assessments to children and adults with a wide range of disorders. The position would diagnose, treat, and provide medication assessments for clients of various diagnosis and ages.
This position is a Full-Time, exempt position with availability of Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. Should also be available nights and weekends as operations or client issues require.
Qualifications:


  • Must be licensed by the state of Maryland as a Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active DEA.
  • Appropriate professional degree from an accredited University
  • Experienced, knowledgeable psychopharmacologist for treatment provision to children and adolescents as well as adults.
  • (3) Three or more years of training and direct service experience diagnosing, treating and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.



Skillsets:

  • Experienced in diagnosis, assessment and treatment planning
  • Experienced, knowledgeable psychopharmacologist for treatment of adults, children, and adolescents
  • Thorough knowledge of the state of Maryland service definitions
  • Familiarity with community resources
  • Crisis intervention/risk assessment expertise
  • Understanding of and ability to implement quality assurance practices

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $70/hour - $78.40/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary range offered for candidates with a minimum of 3 years' experience with license.
Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.
PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).
Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work. Part-Time employees are eligible for overtime if required to work on holidays.
Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.
Health Benefits: Full and Part-Time Employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first day of the month after hire. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision (single and family), flex-spending accounts (FSA and Dependent Care).
Company-Paid Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Long-Term Disability and Basic Life/AD&D. All employees are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Other Voluntary Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Short-Term Disability coverage.
